Since switching to the LED upgrade, my flashlight has the best light from a flashlight I have seen.
Customer Review: Now we are entering the age of practical LED flashlights!
I have bought LED flashlights since their entry into the market, and the Maglite LED upgrade module makes owning an LED flashlight really practical. Sure I have several smaller, powerful LED flashlights, but they all use Lithium CR-123 batteries that are very expensive. All that has changed with Maglite. Now it is possible to use an LED flashlight for extended periods of time without taking out a bank loan. I have tested my 3-cell Mag. for distance. I wasn’t at all dissappointed, as it will throw a beam well in excess of 100 yards. The pure white light is a definite plus too. With white light the apparent brightness is greater with no affect on the true color of what is illuminated. The only downside I can see is the price, but, given the expected life of the LED and the decreased drain on batteries, I’d say that in the long run it will pay for itself. Buy one! You won’t be dissappointed. Take it from one who knows LED flashlights. buy from here…
