Customer Review: Great little unit
This is a great little product for the money. Starts very easily and has both 12V and 110V outlets (voltmeter on the 110V). One thing to be aware of is that it is 850W constant and 1250W peak. This should be able to handle most ’single’ items with some thought on the power requirements. It’s small and portable enough to be moved around and the tank is large enough for a long run time which offsets the fact that it’s a two stroke and you have to mix the gas/oil. buy from here…

I have 5 saks, which made my friend joke with me (”But the point of those things is not to use one device?”) I carry a tinkerer with me all the time, but for trips where opening a wine bottle will be more useful than opening a computer case the spartan is the choice. It is small, will not make a bulge on your pants, and has the most useful functions. It is so useful that I left it in my pocket going through security in the airport. Well, I bought another one now, and also a compact, which might become my daily sak.

There was an occasion that I needed to buy a bunch of small gifts and I saw this general purpose pocket knife on sale for $11. I compared it with many other similar models of Swiss Army knives (Waiter, Tourist, etc), and decided to go with this one. It has just the essential tools that one needs for everyday use, not bulky. People usually get to use the knife blade more often than other tools, so it is good that this model has two knife blades. It has separate bottle/can openers, which is more easier to use. I chose corkscrew over Philip screwdriver because I knew that this particular group of people would prefer it for their purposes. I only wish it came with scissors, but those models with scissors usually have other tools that one doesn’t use everyday and they are bulky to carry around. Customer Review: Well thought out design
I chose PN-20 over Garmin Vista HCx for its overall value. It was a tough choice between the two. Vista HCx is more compact, faster graphics redraw, and more sensitive receiver than PN-20, but PN-20 came with a much better map package, more intuitive and flexible menuing, a better physical design, and a good enough sensitive receiver. I’m very happy with the PN-20.

I used to use a Garmin 60CSx and then this came along and there is no going back. The maps and imagery provided by DeLorme are integrated into the system in a unique and innovative manner. I think because DeLorme has been making maps for consumers and governments for years they understand mapmaking at a higher level than the other GPS providers. and as such they have blown me away with this exciting new GPS. When I arrive at work I must walk out of my parking lot and acrossed a street to get to my building. In winter this often involves making my way through snow and ice, occasionally before any attempt at all has been made to clear it. I got the YakTrax slip on cleats for Christmas and LOVE them. They really dig in. I compare it to walking on dry groung. Absolutely worth the money. I’ve added a second set to my wishlist just to have a spare set.

I got these for my husband after hearing my Dad’s recommendation. He had knee replacement surgery and can’t handle a fall on the ice. They were given as a gift and although he doesn’t use them often, when he does they come in very handy.
They run narrow so if you have wide feet, order up.
They work for snow, ice or sleet. Anytime you need extra grip on your shoes, it is like snow tires for people!

Customer Review: Clever and Handy but not Swiss tough
I received this as a birthday present last year. I really like it, but it has drawbacks. It requires a battery for the light, of course but the battery goes bad in a few months, quicker than I expected. The pen dries out fast, I probably was able to write 10 sticky notes worth with it and it is now retired as a dull letter opener! It opens now instead of writing the letters… (sigh). It proved handy to have a usb memory key with me all the time, and it looks more MacGyver than Revenge of the Nerds, which is a plus. Airlines are familiar with this device too, and they just check to make sure there is no knife and then let it pass. Mine has started to come apart and I’m going to send it back to the store I was told it was purchased. It has only been dropped maybe twice… Overall neat presentation and handy combination of everyday “work” tools, but not perfected. buy from here…

About Swiss Army Knives
In 1884, Swiss cutler Karl Elsener set up shop in Ibach-Schwyz, installing a waterwheel in Tobelbach Brook to run his grinding and polishing machines. Thus began what would become the international brand name Victorinox, a combination of Victoria, for Elsener’s mother, and “inox,” or stainless steel. Today, Victorinox produces watches, luggage, clothing, and, famously, Swiss Army Knives. The forerunner of that name dates to 1897, when Elsener patented the Swiss Officer’s and Sports Knife he supplied to the Swiss Army. Customer Review: Good package missing a small straight blade
A good package for camping and outdoor/sporting use, but unfortunatley it is limited by the lack of a non-serrated blade. A small second blade would have been a great addition and more useful than a second locking mechanism for the screwdriver. It could also benefit from a corkscrew.
Customer Review: Nearly perfect
Another quality product from Victorinox. Yes it is rather large, but I’ve been carrying it constantly for the last two weeks in my jeans pocket with no problem and will continue to do so. It does have a left handed lock which is great for me and any other lefty out there. Don’t be worried if your right handed, it easily unlocks with your right hand too. We lefties have been using the oppisite hand for things like this forever. Finally, the serrated blade is making a convert out of me. I don’t usually like them but this one is razor sharp and quite handy. The only issue that I have is the lock allows a little movement to the blade. This does not effect the function or safety but was a little disappointing to see in an otherwise great knife. Interestingly the screwdriver locks up nice and tight. I still give this knife 5 stars, a great large pocketknife, especially for the price. buy from here…
