Customer Review: Works well
So far I have only used it to power my laptop through the cigarette lighter, but it worked well on an 8 hour trip and never once gave me any trouble. I especially like the small size and intelligent fan that only turns on under heavy load. You can keep this under the seat all the time and it’s there when you need it.
Customer Review: Good but still bulky
the inverter performs well as advertised, however it is bulky. A good improvement would be adding suction cups, clamps or hooks so that it could be hung or fastened somewhere on the dash board or under the hood. All in all, it is a good product but there is room for improvement. buy from here…

Don’t buy this Cobra model. I had a Vector invertor 400 for 10 years, went bad order a Cobra 450 because of price $30.00 no shipping. Unit was defective, returned it $8 shipping, replaced it with like kind, defective, $8 return, letter from Amazon widespread problem with this model, could not replace it. Re-fund my money, ordered a Vector $38 plus $10 shipping. Got email no refund on 2nd Cobra replacement order placed 2 months without, could have bought a unit in town for $45 go figure.

I just started this last night, I have road ridden on a mountain bike for years, on a bike that has been refit for me several times, this book is very helpful, I would like to ride more and this will help me try some different bikes. My local bike store is full of nice people,but since I am not a serious rider,and am a short heavy woman, they have little time to help me. this book fill that need.

Customer Review: Not as good as I hoped…
Looking through the pages of this book, I thought it would be helpful to my husband and myself while RVing. We went to two of the sites listed for Tehachapi, California. The listings made the campsites sound clean with many modern amenities. Both sites were neither- they were primitive and run down. This book needs to be updated. I was very disappointed with it. I will definitely cross-check any information from this book with another guide.

West Coast Camping includes information on more than 1800 RV parks in California, Oregon and Washington. The more I look at it the more I like it. You can find RV parks in several ways:
1. if you know the name, use the index
2. if you are looking for a certain area, use the map at the beginning of each section or look in those pages
3. if you have an interest such as fishing, seeing wildlife or camping along a pretty river, check that listings in that section for ones in your state
Each campground is described according to general location and nearby recreational opportunities, RV sites and facilities, reservations and fees. Directions and contact information are given. Icons give you certain information at a glance, such as whether pets are allowed.
Two things make this book unique:
* One is a scenic rating. The rating is just that and does not take into consideration noise level, facilities, maintenance, recreation options, or management. It is basically rating how picturesque the campground is, not the quality of the experience.
* The other unique feature is listings of his the best parks in several categories: best coastal sites, best fishing, best wildlife-viewing, prettiest lakes, prettiest rivers. For those with a specific interest, this information is quite helpful.
Stienstra does not include all campgrounds, nor those that are in extremely remote locations, very difficult to reach or where the access road is extremely narrow or twisty. Included are many state parks, some national park and other federal campgrounds. He does mention the longest RV the campground can accommodate but not how many sites of each. If you have a rig longer than 35 feet, you may want to verify that there are open sites of the size you need. Also, prices can go up anytime so verify the price if that is a concern.
If you are like most RVers we know, one campground guide is not enough. If you will be spending time in these any of these three states and want to enjoy their beauty, this is one campground guide you must add to your collection.

Customer Review: Acceptable with upgrades
I’ve had this unit for about a month now, and it’s been working fairly well. It seems to be able to get satellites readings pretty easily and accurately. It can even acquire a signal in an jet plane, and it’s pretty fun being able to tell what towns you’re flying over and how fast the plane is moving. The display is really nice. It can operate with a backlight of varying brightnesses or without, depending on the light level and your concern of battery life. The included software isn’t bad. All and all product is basically as described, EXCEPT…
-the “detailed base map” that the Amazon product description talks about is bull. There’s only a dozen or 2 roads listed in all of Manhattan. (Other US cities have similar detail.) If you want to do anything interesting, except know the exact coordinates of different points you load, you’ve got to upgrade the map.
PS - “Beast Hunt”, one of the included games on the unit, is more fun than I’d like to admit. buy from here…

Customer Review: Great buy, but…
I would have given five star if it wasn’t so little. Otherwise, it’s a great little tent. It’s fun for my 2yr old son to clim in/out of it and it really helps protect him when he needs a break from the hot, damaging sun at the beach. I love how it circulates the air inside, and doesn’t limit the outside view. It’s easy to clean and very portable. I like how easily it twists in to put away and then pops out to put up. There is little to no maintenence on this tent, we love to take it everywhere. The bottom of tent is very durable. We took it to Disney with us, we set it up on concrete ground for the parade and put a light blanket inside for some cushioning. It was great, bottom never tore. It’s so easy to dust off or hose off any food/drink spills and dries quickly.
I just wish it could be a little bigger. It was too small when my daughter was three (but she’s tall for her age), now that she’s six, she still loves to climb in with her two yr old brother. While it’s cramped, they have a blast. It’s very durable. We’ve had it for three years now and it’s still good as new; it was a great buy for us!

This little tent and let me stress little is great for the beach. It is the perfect size for up to 3 years old. You twist it like you would car sun shields to collapse it. I purchase it at Tuesday Morning for 7.99, so for that price it is well worth it; I don’t think I would pay much more for it. It is better than the Toys R Us or Babies R Us Lil Nursery Portable Play Tent my girlfriend has. It is a hassle to put up and this you just take out of the bag and toss. My son has enjoyed playing with it at the beach and in the yard.
